As I get older, I really find myself getting into magazines such as Family Circle. Isn't it odd how your tastes change with where you are in life?
Anyway, in the November issue of Family Circle, they showed this easy way to spruce up your fall gathering.
Grab a few mini pumpkins or gourds, run a rich satin ribbon in between them, pull a few sprigs of berries to add to the tops of your pumpkins.and you're done!
You can use raffia, ribbon, even nuts or fruit mixed in. Great for small bookshelf or on a buffet or counter or even nightstand.
Great idea for those with little time or little creativity! And it's inexpensive!
this is so true! I love magazines, I am acutally doing a giveaway on my blog for one now! I would love for you to come by and check it out! :)

I agree...It's been a long time since Mademoiselle, Vogue, etc have been able to catch my eye. I love to get good advice, easy recipes, and budget ideas for sprucing up my home...NOT find out how all my clothes purchased last season are no longer in style.
P.S. I heart your fall display.

I know what you mean! I love Family Circle, Woman's Day, etc....
Love how those pumpkins look. I think I am going to use the small white ones all lined up with some berries. I've been eyeing these bushes with small red berry looking things.......I may have to trespass......but it's worth it.
