This is me and my great friend, Tiffanie (right) kicking it up in Times Square a few years ago. A fabulous weekend with my other friend Sarah and our tour guide, great friend Dianne. Fun times filled with italian food at Carmines, strolling through Central Park, cupcakes at Magnolia Bakery, shoe shopping at, well.. everywhere... stopping into Dylans Candy Bar, tons of sightseeing and PURSES PURSES PURSES. (I took home five.) Oh, and we stopped at Tiff's store... Tiffany & Co. LOL
Since those days, most of us have had children, so a lot of our fun and creativity revolves around what fun things we can do and plan for them. Tiff didn't disappoint with this year's swamp theme birthday for her son, Declan.
Tiff covered the tables in fish netting. This is a great time of year to get these as they are usually out with the beach decor and shells. She laid them on tables and wove in turtles and frogs.
Loving this cake with the alligator coming out of the "water".
Cupcake toppers! Love the alligator shaped toppers!
Frog suckers for the guests to take home
Green plants used for centerpieces with shimmery vase filler scattered on the table
And... my favorite part... the watermelon turtle! Isn't it adorable?
Directions on how to carve one are found on www.watermelon.org
Tiff not only knows how to plan a fun party for family and friends, she's a fabulous massage therapist that owns her own day spa. Serendipityx2, A Bodyworks Day Spa, is located in Mifflintown, PA. This is halfway between Harrisburg and State College (home of Penn State Nittany Lions) in Central PA.
If you're in the area, contact them for the royal treatment! Their phone number is 717-436-6696, email is email@example.com and their website is located here.
And while I'm plugging my friends, Dianne, our amazing tour guide and my great Queens accented friend, has an amazing DJ, Photo, Video, Wedding Coordinating business that serves NYC and NJ. I know Dianne personally and I can say that you won't find anyone more dedicated to details and the comfort of her clients than her company, Colorblind Productions. If you're in the area and are looking for these types of services, give them a ring.
Oh.. and thank me later, Tiff. I didn't post any crazy photos from my wedding. :)
