Oh Martha, how we love you so.
This idea, from a past issue of Martha Stewart Weddings, suggests decorating your appetizer toothpicks with mini daisies. Grab a package of mini daisies and a glue gun and you've got yourself a perfect activity for a night in front of the tv!
Also adorable are the shapes of the appetizers made from mini-cutters.
Sidenote: notice the serving tray - wood!

"Too cute! I just found your blog the other day and have a feeling I will be spending way too much time here!"
Congratulations, Amanda!
I'm probably going to get my party guru card taken away for saying this, but the thought of gluing on all those daisies only to have the toothpicks immediately thrown out makes me think it's not worth the effort. Very cute to look at, though. I wonder if there's a way to make them reusable?

2nd City Jen, good point, I think that you could just poke the toothpick through the daisy head...I used to do flowers and would do that with the floral wire. Then at the least seeing them thrown away wouldn't seem so painful : )!!!

I think they are adorable! I picked up a set of Martha daisy invites, thank yous & garland on clearance a couple months ago, and can't wait for the right event to use them for! These would be perfect for that party!

Love is photogenic. It needs darkness to develop.
