Everyone knows that most crafty folks and event planners loves wreaths. They are easy to create and can really tie together the look of a room. And the possibilities are ENDLESS in what to use to create one.
I just had to share this super creative wreath with you. Brittany of Grey Grey Designs is right down the interstate from me in Memphis and she recently put together a "Honey Do Shower". Going to places like Home Depot to find decorations is always a fun challenge and above was the outcome for the wreath.
Made from an extension cord! Click on the picture above so you can really see it up close. I LOVE that you can see the plug! She said it took over and hour to thread the extension cord 'round and 'round that wreath, but boy was it worth it!
Other fun things...
Cupcakes sitting in crushed oreos (i.e. dirt) with shovels featuring the cake stand covered in grass scrapbook paper.

I can totally see this theme transformed into a co-ed baby shower too.

I did have fun, and I worked on it a little more one week night.
I'll tell ya if you ever have a baby, get a walker, Sadie has one and that's what allowed me to do some work, she zipped back and forth around my feet while I painted!!!
