As you may or may not know, I live in the Nashville, TN area. During the first weekend of May, several areas of Nashville endured a horrendous flood the likes that this area hasn't seen in 100 years. The images are absolutely heartbreaking.
Many many volunteers have worked countless hours to help the recovery and rebuilding process. People in this area are so generous... giving everything they have - food, water, time, clothes, places to sleep, building supplies, their skills, etc.
One of my friends, Nashville photographer Kate Crafton will be donating her time and talent along with other middle Tennessee photographers during an event called Photos for the Flood. Basically, for a $50 donation, you'll get a 20 minute photo session and 5 finished images in an online gallery. Great for anyone.. children, couples, great graduation shots, etc.
Every penny of the $50 donation goes straight to either the Nashville Red Cross or Hands on Nashville.
All you have to do is email them (address above) and set up a appointment. Easy as that! These are some of the best photographers in Nashville and to get to have a mini session with them while helping Nashville is a gift!!
Not in Nashville but want to support the flood relief efforts? How about these cute shirts? All these are available for purchase at Nashville Flood Tees.
What about this cute onesie?
Thanks for spreading the word! I purchased one of the shirts yesterday, too!

I'm a former Nashvillian (LOVE that city!) who bought one of those tees last week. I'm getting ready to write my own post about the flooding and will link to this post, if you don't mind. Thanks!
