How excited was I when I came across this printable peppermint graphic from the Dollar Tree? Especially when I was planning on designing the exact same style to use! They beat me to it!
So here's what I did with them.
Print out the peppermints and cut them out.
The Dollar Tree has styrofoam disks which the template was designed to fit. Perfect! They come 2 to a pack for $1. I'll tell you ahead of time that not all Dollar Trees carry them. I've found the larger stores have these. If you can't find them, you could use cardboard or cardstock. Place the peppermint template on top of the disk and attach either with double sided tape or glue stick.
Then just wrap each piece in cellophane (also at the Dollar Tree for $1/roll) and twist the ends like a real peppermint. From there, the possibilities are endless. You could add to a wreath or make a garland, etc. I wired a couple pieces into my Christmas tree topper.
What a cute idea!!!

Very cute...peppermint is my favorite Christmas flavor and look! You need to make some of the peppermint bark that I posted on my blog yesterday!
